Vampire bat

Vampire bats are bats whose food source is animal blood.

Three bat species feed on blood: The Hairy legged vampire bat, Normal Vampire bat, and the white-winged vampire bat.

Due to differences among the three species, each has been placed within a different genus.

Unlike fruit bats, the vampire bats have short, conical muzzles. It also lacks a nose leaf, instead of having naked pads with U-shaped grooves

The word goat comes from the old-English Gat.

 Barbary lion is extinct in the wild due to excessive hunting. The last Barbary lion was killed in Morocco in 1920.
